USDA Organic

Did you know that products that use the USDA organic logo must be at least 95% organic? USDA certified organic foods are grown to strict federal guidelines that assess several factors. For instance, there are no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers permitted in the growth of organic vegetables. In addition, these ingredients are tracked and maintained separate from non-organic ingredients, from farm to bowl. We work hard to pioneer pet food and pave the way for better ingredients and better food, for a better quality of life.

Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.)

We believe that quality starts from the very beginning. That's why we partner with Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.), one of the most respected animal welfare standards and labeling organizations. G.A.P.'s team of animal welfare scientists set the standards for how farm animals are raised, and third-party certifiers audit every farm to ensure these standards are being met. That's why you can feel good about giving your pet Tender & True G.A.P. certified recipes, because you know that the farm animals used in our products have been humanely raised to G.A.P.'s standards, including more space to move around, access to the outdoors, and absolutely NO antibiotics or growth hormones.

G.A.P. is a non-profit organization that exists to positively impact the lives of farm animals raised for food. Together, we can change the way our food (and theirs) is raised.

To prepare:

Feed as is or add 1 part warm water to two parts Tender & True Farmers Market Recipe. For safe handling, discard any uneaten food within 2 hours.

*Measurements are based on a standard 8 oz. measuring cup.
