USDA Organic
Did you know that products that use the USDA organic logo must be at least 95% organic? USDA certified organic foods are grown to strict federal guidelines that assess several factors. For instance, there are no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers permitted in the growth of organic vegetables. In addition, these ingredients are tracked and maintained separate from non-organic ingredients, from farm to bowl. We work hard to pioneer pet food and pave the way for better ingredients and better food, for a better quality of life.
Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.)
We believe that quality starts from the very beginning. That's why we partner with Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.), one of the most respected animal welfare standards and labeling organizations. G.A.P.'s team of animal welfare scientists set the standards for how farm animals are raised, and third-party certifiers audit every farm to ensure these standards are being met.
G.A.P. is a non-profit organization that exists to positively impact the lives of farm animals raised for food. Together, we can change the way our food (and theirs) is raised.
Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
We believe that quality starts from the very beginning. That's why we partner the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to guarantee that the wild caught fish contained in each and everyTender & True product has been certified sustainable seafood!
The MSC mission is to use their ecolabel and fishery certification program to contribute to the health of the world’s oceans by recognizing and rewarding sustainable fishing practices, influencing the choices people make when buying seafood, and working with its partners to transform the seafood market to a sustainable basis.
Thank you for choosing seafood that has met the MSC’s global standards for sustainability. Together we can help protect fish stocks for the future.
